Installing a Forzer Modding map on your FiveM server
From purchase to server: retrieve your MLO or Ymap on Cfx.re, install it, set the game build and check that everything displays.
All our MLOs and Ymaps are installed the same way. Allow five minutes.
1. Get the product
After purchase, the product is delivered automatically to the Cfx.re account used for payment. Open the Cfx.re portal (Granted Assets), find the product and download the archive.
The product is protected by Cfx.re escrow: it only works on a server whose license key (sv_licenseKey) belongs to the same Cfx.re account that received the asset.
2. Place the resource
- Extract the downloaded archive.
- Put the folder in resources (you may place it in a sub-folder in brackets, for example resources/[forzer]).
- Do not rename the folder and do not delete any sub-folder of stream, unless the product guide says otherwise (choosing a texture version, for example).
3. Start it
In server.cfg, add a line:
ensure nom_du_dossierPlace it after your base resources (framework, etc.). Also check the game build: our mappings require at least build 3095.
set sv_enforceGameBuild 30954. Restart and check
Fully restart the server, connect and go to the location. If something does not display, clear the FiveM cache (FiveM.app/data/cache) and consult the guide to common problems.
Updates
When a product is updated, you receive a notification and an e-mail. Download the new version from the Cfx.re portal (Granted Assets), replace the old folder, then restart the server. Fixes are also available in My account › Downloads.
