Dynasty 8: installing the MLO on your FiveM server
Install the Dynasty 8 MLO (virtual reality room, working elevator, rooftop) and check that everything works.
The Dynasty 8 MLO includes the agency, a virtual reality room, a working elevator and a rooftop.
1. Get the product
After purchase, the product is automatically delivered to the Cfx.re account used for the payment. Open the Cfx.re portal (Granted Assets), find the product and download the archive.
The product is protected by Cfx.re escrow: it only works on a server whose license key (sv_licenseKey) belongs to the same Cfx.re account that received the asset.
2. Install on the server
- Extract the archive and place the product folder in your resources folder (keep the folder name as delivered).
- In server.cfg, add ensure followed by the exact folder name.
- Check the game build: our mappings require at least build 3095. If needed, add set sv_enforceGameBuild 3095 (or newer) in server.cfg.
- Fully restart the server: a simple restart of the resource is not always enough for map files.
3. If something goes wrong
- The mapping doesn't appear: check the ensure line, build 3095, and that the server's license key is on the Cfx.re account that owns the asset.
- Missing or old textures: close FiveM, empty FiveM.app/data/cache (and the server's server-cache), then relaunch.
- Duplicate objects, flickering floor: another mapping occupies the same location. Disable it while you test.
- The elevator or rooftop doesn't show: do a full server restart (not just the resource) and empty the FiveM cache.
All detailed solutions are in the common issues guide.
